  We are pleased to inform you of the publication of the first volume of the International Journal of Gender, Knowledge, and Social Futures, established by the UNEC Women Researchers Council (WRC) at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).

  The inaugural volume is dedicated to the I UNEC Women Researchers Council International Symposium - WRCIS 2026 held at UNEC on 06 March 2026. This special issue brings together selected scholarly contributions presented during the symposium and reflects the Council’s commitment to advancing rigorous academic dialogue on gender-related scholarship.

  The volume encompasses a broad range of interdisciplinary topics, including women’s empowerment, gender studies, feminist theory, social transformation, inclusive development, and related areas of critical inquiry. By providing a platform for both national and international scholars, the Journal aims to foster intellectual exchange, promote evidence-based research, and contribute to contemporary debates on gender equality and social futures.
