About the Journal

UNEC Journal of Computer Science and Digital Technologies (JCSDT) is an international, peer-reviewed, open‐access journal published by Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). Launched in 2025 to coincide with UNEC’s commitment to digital innovation, JCSDT advances both theoretical and applied research in computing and digital technologies.

Focus & Scope:
JCSDT welcomes original research articles, comprehensive reviews, case studies, and short communications in areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science and Big Data Analytics, Cybersecurity and Privacy, Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies (IoT, cloud/edge computing, green IT), Human–Computer Interaction and Digital Education, Software Engineering and Systems Design, Computational Theory and Algorithms, Sustainable Computing and Energy Efficiency, and Health Informatics and Digital Healthcare. Interdisciplinary work that bridges computer science with economics, education, or social impact is especially encouraged.

Open Access Policy:
JCSDT operates under a diamond-open-access model—no subscription fees or article processing charges. All published content is immediately and freely available to readers worldwide under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows users to copy, distribute, adapt, and build upon the work—provided proper attribution is given—fostering maximum dissemination and reuse of research.

Copyright & Licensing:
Authors retain copyright to their work. By publishing in JCSDT, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right to publish and distribute the article. All accepted manuscripts are licensed under CC BY 4.0, enabling unrestricted use with appropriate credit.

Sponsorship & Funding Disclosure:
JCSDT is fully sponsored by Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). There are no submission or publication fees for authors. Any external funding sources for published research must be acknowledged in the funding statement of each article.

History & Development:
Established in 2025, JCSDT reflects UNEC’s strategic emphasis on digital transformation and economic development. The journal was created to provide a dedicated venue for scholars and practitioners in Azerbaijan, the wider Caucasus region, and beyond to share cutting‐edge advances in computer science and digital technologies.

Privacy & Data Protection:
JCSDT adheres to strict privacy standards. Personal data (e.g., names, email addresses) collected during submission and peer review is used exclusively for journal operations and is never shared with third parties. Reviewer identities remain confidential in accordance with our double-blind review policy.

Archiving & Preservation:
To ensure the long‐term availability of published content, JCSDT participates in both LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archival systems. All articles are deposited in institutional and subject-specific repositories, and digital backups are maintained following best archival practices.

Indexing & Discoverability:
JCSDT aims to be indexed in major databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, DOAJ, and others. Inclusion in these services enhances article visibility, citation, and scholarly impact.
