UNEC Journal of Computer Science and Digital Technologies (JCSDT)

The UNEC Journal of Computer Science and Digital Technologies (JCSDT), published by the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), invites researchers, academics, and industry professionals to submit original research articles, review papers, and short communications for consideration.

JCSDT is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal that serves as an international platform for the dissemination of innovative theoretical developments and applied research in computer science and digital technologies.

Scope and Research Areas

The journal welcomes high-quality contributions in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: deep learning methodologies, natural language processing (NLP), explainable and ethical AI frameworks.

  • Data Science and Big Data Analytics: advanced data analytics, data mining techniques, visualization methods, and real-time data processing systems.

  • Cybersecurity and Privacy: network and information security, cryptographic methods, blockchain security, and data protection mechanisms.

  • Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies: Internet of Things (IoT), cloud infrastructures, quantum computing, sustainable and green technologies.

  • Human-Computer Interaction and Digital Education Technologies: UX/UI design, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), e-learning environments, and adaptive learning systems.

  • Publication Frequency: Biannual (two issues per year)

Manuscript Preparation Requirements

Authors are requested to prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the following guidelines:

  • Language: English

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx)

  • Length: Maximum 30 pages (excluding references and appendices)

  • Abstract: 150–300 words, structured (Introduction, Main Body, Conclusion)

  • Keywords: 4–6 keywords

  • Figures and Tables: Sequentially numbered and embedded within the text

  • Referencing Style: APA or IEEE citation format

  • ORCID: All authors must provide valid ORCID identifiers

Submission and Ethical Standards

All submissions must meet the following criteria:

  • The manuscript must be original and not under consideration by another journal.

  • A minimum of 70% of cited sources should be recent publications (within the last five years) and written in English.

  • All manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening using recognized similarity detection software (maximum allowable similarity index: 15%).

  • Full contact details, including email addresses and ORCID IDs of all authors, must be provided.

  • The corresponding author must be clearly designated with complete contact information.
