Author Guidelines
Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.
Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.
An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.
All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system. Submissions sent by email will not be considered. Manuscripts must not have been previously published and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission. Any related publications or overlapping material must be disclosed in the cover letter and in the author note on the title page.
At the time of initial submission, authors must upload a separate, non-anonymized title page and an anonymized main manuscript. The title page should include the full manuscript title, the names and institutional affiliations of all authors, the email address of the corresponding author, funding information where applicable, and a statement of conflicts of interest. ORCID identifiers are recommended but not required.
The main manuscript must be fully anonymized for double-blind peer review. This includes removal of all author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and any references that could reveal author identity. Authors must also ensure that identifying information has been removed from the document’s file properties.
Manuscripts that do not comply with these requirements may be returned to the authors without review.
Manuscript Style, Length, and Format
All manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with APA Style (7th edition). Submissions should be written in clear, academic English and formatted using Times New Roman 12-point font, double-spaced throughout, with one-inch margins on all sides. Pages should be numbered consecutively in the top right-hand corner.
Original research articles should not exceed 8,000 words, excluding the title page, abstract, references, and supplementary materials. Manuscripts that substantially exceed this length may be returned without review.
Abstract and Keywords
Each manuscript must include an abstract of 150 to 250 words. The abstract should clearly describe the purpose of the study, the methodology employed, the main findings, and the implications of the results. Authors must also provide four to six keywords that accurately reflect the content of the manuscript and facilitate indexing and retrieval.
Organization of the Manuscript
Manuscripts should begin with an anonymized title page, followed by the abstract and keywords. The introduction should begin with the manuscript title as a Level 1 heading and should not be labeled “Introduction.” The body of the manuscript should be organized using appropriate APA heading levels and should typically include sections on the theoretical framework or literature review, method, results, discussion, and conclusion.
Tables and Figures
Tables and figures must be prepared in accordance with APA Style (7th edition). Each table and figure should be numbered consecutively and referred to explicitly in the text. Tables and figures should be placed after the reference list, with all tables preceding all figures. Authors should not use placeholder text such as “Insert Table here.” Figures must be of high quality, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
Redundant presentation of information in both text and tables or figures should be avoided.
Quantitative and Statistical Reporting Standards
Authors are expected to report quantitative methods and results with sufficient detail to allow replication and critical evaluation. Manuscripts should clearly state research questions or hypotheses, describe sampling procedures and data sources, justify analytical approaches, and report statistical assumptions. Effect sizes, confidence intervals, and exact p-values should be reported where appropriate, in accordance with APA statistical reporting guidelines.
Submissions that do not meet acceptable standards of methodological rigor may be desk-rejected.
Language Quality
Manuscripts must be written in clear and accurate academic English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to seek professional language editing prior to submission. Use of language-editing services does not guarantee acceptance of a manuscript, and all costs associated with such services are the responsibility of the authors.
