Abstract

The article assesses the integration potential of international transport corridors, identifies obstacles to the development of transregional cooperation and puts forward recommendations for their elimination. Uncertainty situations affecting the competitiveness of transport and logistics infrastructures are considered. The main objectives of the study are the development of regional economic cooperation processes, coordination of regional routes, integration into the international transport and logistics network and the preparation of conceptual proposals for strengthening the country's position in regional trade.
Content analysis covers traditional and conceptual aspects. The main contribution of the study is to identify directions for strengthening the integrative connectivity of transport corridors connecting major economic centers such as the EU and China. Against the background of global geopolitical uncertainties, the coordination of logistics infrastructures in the Caspian and Central Asian regions and sustainable regional cooperation relations are studied in a systematic manner. The aspects of the integrative connectivity of the North-South and Trans-Caspian Routes, the development directions of the processes of joint trade and intermodal transport cooperation of the countries of the region, in particular, the ways to overcome difficulties related to infrastructure systems and the functional elements connecting the corridors were identified.

Conceptual solutions and proposals were put forward on the integration of Azerbaijan into the transregional logistics system, the improvement of transport infrastructure for the prospects of this policy, the strengthening of the role of the ports of Baku and Aktau as the main elements connecting the transregional corridors, and the realization of the regional integration potential.
