UNEC Journal of Current Problems in Design (JCPD) – published by the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal. The journal provides a platform for highlighting current issues in the field of design, integrating theoretical and practical research, and promoting the development of disciplinary approaches.
JCPD explores the connection of contemporary design thinking with economics, culture, technology, and systemic practices. The journal serves as an academic platform for both researchers and practicing designers in the field.

The journal accepts articles on topics including, but not limited to:

Authors of articles published in the UNEC Journal of Current Problems in Design agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The article is simultaneously published under the Creative Commons CC BY license, allowing others to share the work with proper acknowledgment of the authors and its initial publication in the journal.

JCPD is funded by UNEC. No publication fees are charged to authors. Any externally funded research must be disclosed.

Mission
