Submission Preparation Checklist
Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that the following requirements have been met:
- The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal.
- The article is relevant to the scientific scope and thematic areas of the journal (design-related fields).
- The total length of the manuscript, including references, is 5–8 pages.
- The manuscript is structured in accordance with international academic standards (title, abstract, keywords, main text, conclusion, references).
- An Abstract should be provided (150 to 250 words), with author names and Affiliation.
- The title, abstract, keywords, and UDC index are provided in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian.
- All authors should provide their ORCID ID ( https://orcid.org/register)
- Complete and accurate author information is provided (full name, academic degree, affiliation, institutional address, e-mail, and contact phone number).
- All sources cited in the text are properly referenced, and a reference list is included.
- The manuscript complies with plagiarism and originality requirements.
- The text is prepared in Microsoft Word, using Times New Roman, 12 pt font size, 1.5 line spacing, and follows the journal’s formatting guidelines.
- All figures and tables are properly numbered and include appropriate titles.
- A cover letter confirming that the manuscript has not been previously published and indicating the relevant field of science has been submitted.
Articles
The “Articles” section covers scholarly articles, innovative approaches, and applied research addressing current issues in design. All manuscripts are peer-reviewed in accordance with international academic publishing standards.
Copyright Notice
Authors of articles published in the UNEC Journal of Current Problems in Design agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The article is simultaneously published under the Creative Commons CC BY license, allowing others to share the work with proper acknowledgment of the authors and its initial publication in the journal.
- Authors may enter into separate, additional agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of their work (for example, posting it in an institutional repository or including it in a book), provided that the initial publication in the journal is acknowledged.

Authors are permitted and encouraged to share their work online (for example, in institutional repositories or on personal websites) before or during the submission process, as this can promote academic discussion, visibility, and increase citations of the published work.
Privacy Statement
UNEC Journal of Current Problems in Design collects and uses personal information that is necessary for the submission, processing, and publication of manuscripts. This information may include authors’ names, institutional affiliations, and contact details such as postal addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers. All personal data provided to UJCPD will be used solely for the purpose of managing the peer review process, editorial decisions, and publication of the manuscript, and will not be shared with third parties except as required for the publication process.
