This article examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the fashion and textile design process. AI enables new levels of innovation, personalization, and sustainability within creative workflows in the industry. The applied technologies include market trend analysis, generation of visual concepts, virtual prototyping, and automated pattern construction.
The article highlights that AI contributes to addressing key production challenges such as waste reduction, production optimization, and adaptation to consumers’ individual needs. At the same time, it emphasizes the importance of ethical considerations and human oversight, particularly regarding copyright issues and the transparency of algorithmic decision-making.
In conclusion, the study underscores that AI will not replace human designers; rather, it will serve as a tool that enhances their creative capabilities and opens new perspectives in the field of fashion.
