About the Journal

Journal of Belt and Road Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published twice a year by Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) committed to advancing high-quality, interdisciplinary research on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and its wide-ranging economic, political, and socio-cultural implications. The journal provides an inclusive platform for academics, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to publish original empirical studies, theoretical contributions, and policy-oriented analyses. Emphasizing methodological rigor and evidence-based inquiry, the journal aims to deepen understanding of the BRI’s impact on sustainable development, political economy, international relations, governance structures, and cross-cultural interactions.
Published using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, the Journal of Belt and Road Studies follows a peer-review process to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and scholarly excellence. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by independent experts in relevant fields to maintain the quality and credibility of published research.
