Abstract

The main goal of the research is to demonstrate that self-efficacy predicts academic performance more accurately than prior achievements and to highlight the importance of aligning these beliefs with actual outcomes. It also emphasizes that students' misjudgment of their abilities negatively impacts their behavior and motivation. Overall, it concludes that the balanced development of self-efficacy plays a significant role in academic success.

The research methods involved collecting and analyzing statistical data to measure the relationship between self-efficacy and actual outcomes across various fields. Additionally, tests and surveys were employed to evaluate how students assess their abilities and how these assessments align with actual results. Based on the findings, factors influencing students' motivation and behavior were identified.

The practical significance of the research lies in demonstrating the effectiveness of organizing education through a competence-based approach. The study promotes the adoption of new teaching methods aimed at integrating students' knowledge, skills, and attitudes holistically. The findings emphasize the importance of focusing curricula on developing practical knowledge and professional competencies. This approach ensures a more objective evaluation of educational outcomes and better addresses students' developmental needs.
