In the architectural monuments of Nakhchivan, which is considered the center of high-level applied and decorative arts, masterful use of bricks in various forms, along with the addition of brick patterns and color shades, has further enriched their architectural ornamentation. In the Nakhchivan architectural school, geometric and floral ornaments are frequently developed and applied, often using methods intended for mathematical divisions. The most complex examples of geometric patterns can be found in monuments dating from the 12th to 15th centuries, particularly in the works of the architect Ajami Nakhchivani. Representing the 12th century, considered the Renaissance period, these structures are of great importance in terms of artistic and architectural design. The architectural monuments of Nakhchivan from this period attract attention with their grandeur, unique original features, extraordinary beauty, and elegance.
