The shift towards sustainability in fashion and costume design has become a key priority in response to global ecological, social, and economic challenges. This study examines the role of sustainable technologies in costume design, with particular attention to eco-friendly materials and zero-waste approaches. By reviewing innovative textile developments such as biodegradable fibers, recycled fabrics, and plant-based alternatives, the article demonstrates that material innovations reduce environmental impact while promoting creative expression. Furthermore, the research discusses zero-waste cutting techniques, circular economy strategies, and the integration of digital tools such as 3D modeling and virtual prototyping as transformative solutions for sustainable costume production. The findings indicate that sustainable technologies not only mitigate the negative impact of the fashion industry but also redefine costume design as a field where artistic value and ecological responsibility coexist.
