WASTE MANAGEMENT IN THE GREEN ECONOMY

Abstract

This paper explores the economic and ecological assessment of waste in the context of green economy development. Green economy aims to efficiently use natural resources, maintain ecological balance, and ensure social sustainability. Waste management, recycling, and circular economy are essential elements of this concept. The paper discusses methods of economic and ecological evaluation of waste, technologies for waste recycling, and the socio-political impacts. Additionally, the paper examines the experiences and challenges faced by Azerbaijan and other developing countries in the field of green economy and waste management.
