Vol. 1 No. 1 (2026): The Journal of Belt and Road Studies - JBRS
With great pleasure we would like to inform that the first issue of the Journal of Belt and Road Studies (JBRS) has been released in order to mark the 96th anniversary of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). The Journal of Belt and Road Studies is the first scholarly journal in Eastern Europe dealing exclusively with Belt and Road Studies and serves as an international venue for interdisciplinary studies in the field of economic, political, legal, social and cultural aspects of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). This first issue marks the beginning of a new era of scientific communication, international academic cooperation, and dissemination of evidence-based knowledge about one of the most significant global projects of the XXI century. We would like to express sincere gratitude to our eminent authors, reviewers, members of editorial boards, and international partners for their important contributions to the birth of the journal. We welcome all scholars, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners around the world to become involved in JBRS through their readings, citations, and submissions of original articles.
